Requesting Items in I-Share
While you may be able to borrow the majority of items in I-Share, there are items individual libraries have chosen not to lend.
Typical Items you can borrow via I-Share:
- Books (print)
Items that are typically "unrequestable":
- Print Journals
- Items on Course Reserves
- Reference Materials
- Special Collections
|An item can be unrequestable if:||Things To Try if Your Request Failed
|The item is for in-library use only. (Example: Course Reserves)||
If the item is at Morris Library, you must retrieve it from the shelf.
If it is at SIUC Storage I and II, use the Interlibrary Loan form to have it delivered to Morris Library.Look for a copy from a different library in I-Share from which it might be requestable.
If Morris Library does NOT own the following items, use Interlibrary Loan:
