Forestry: Books and Other Stuff

A guide to research in Forestry.

Finding Books

  1. First open up our library catalog in another window.

  2. To find a book on your topic, enter your keywords in the search box.

  3. Click on a relevant book title and then click on the subject headings for more books on the same topic.

  4. Determine where the book is located. If it's at Morris Library retrieve it from the indicated floor or use the request function. We will also scan chapters for you. If it's in Off-Site Storage, use the Request function in I-Share to have it retrieved.

  5. If Morris Library does not have the book you want, use the All I-Share Libraries option (in the drop-down menu) and click on the Request link to have it retrieved from another library in Illinois.

  6. If I-Share does not have the book you want, search  WorldCat and then request it through Interlibrary Loan.
