Import references from Web of Science

You can export one or many references from Web of Science into EndNote Desktop.

Step 1: Search Web of Science and select the desired references by checking the boxes to the left of the title. Check Select Page to select all references on the page.

Step 2: Choose Export - EndNote Desktop from the drop down menu at the top of the results list.

Step 3: Select the appropriate record content and click Send.

Step 4: Select the application with which to open the .ciw file; the process is the same as when opening an .ris file (see the "Add References" page for help).

Step 5: The new references will appear in your Imported References folder in EndNote Desktop.
