Import from Google Scholar

For best results, open Google Scholar through the Morris Library homepage.

Step 1: Click on Settings on the main Google Scholar search screen.

Step 2: Under the heading Bibliography Manager, select Show links to import citations into and from the drop-down menu select EndNote and click Save.

Step 3: Conduct a search and in the results list click Import into EndNote under the desired reference.

Step 4: Select the application with which to open the .enw file (see the "Add References" page for help).

Step 5: The new reference will appear in your Imported References folder in EndNote Desktop.

Tip: References imported from Google Scholar tend to have missing information, so they are good candidates for the Find Reference Update feature.
