Import One Reference from PubMed

Step 1: Search for and select (by clicking on the title) the desired reference.

Step 2: Click on Send to in the upper right-hand corner of the desired reference and check the bubble next to Citation Manager.

Step 3: Select the application with which to open the .nbib file; the process is the same as when opening an .ris file (see the "Add References" page for help).

Step 4. The new reference will appear in your Imported References folder in EndNote Desktop.

Import Multiple References from PubMed

Step 1: Select the desired references from a set of search results by checking the boxes next to the titles.

Step 2: Click on Send to in the upper right-hand corner and check the bubble next to Citation Manager.

Step 3: Select the application with which to open the .nbib file; the process is the same as when opening an .ris file (see the "Add References" page for help).

Step 4. The new references will appear in your Imported References folder in EndNote Desktop.
